Jeff Prescott was born on February 23rd 1969 in Olean New York, little did any one know what would come about just a few short years later (about 5 yrs to be exact).
Jeff grew up in East Olean. He was a normal young boy running through the neighborhood just like every other kid. When Jeff was just 5 years old his gym teacher (Jim Myers, aka coach) at his elementary school spoke to his father about a program at the YMCA, wrestling. As they say, "that’s all she wrote". Jeff took to the sport like a fish takes to water, he was not very good at his first couple of attempts but he was very aggressive and he enjoyed to dish out the pain, yes even at the age of 5. Jeff wrestled both in season and off season (summer tournaments) racking up a large number of 1st place trophy’s over the years. Jeff excelled in all that he did, no matter what is was he wanted to be the best and that is what he was, the best. He was the local winner of Punt, Pass and Kick events every year as well as a little monster on the pee wee, pony and midget football leagues. He even played a bit of baseball and did very well at that. Growing up in a small town in Western NY there are a lot of outdoor activities to do and he even did well in those, fishing and hunting his name was always in the local paper for something. I can not begin to count the number of articles, magazines or news recordings that I have collected over the years.
As Jeff grew older his love for wrestling also grew. He became a power house in the sport, many feared him in fact there were times that some would not even go to the mat when called to compete against him.
